Certified copy of a Birth Certificate

If you require a copy of a birth certificate for a person who was born in the Falkland Islands, please complete and return the appropriate Birth Certificate Application Form. There are two types of application forms: One for Local Applications and one for Overseas Applications.

The forms can be downloaded here or you can contact the Registry Office.

If the birth can be located in the birth books, then the Registrar General can prepare a certified copy of a birth certificate for you, and contact you to arrange collection.

Certified copy of a Death Certificate

If you require a copy of a death certificate for a person who died in the Falkland Islands, please complete and return the appropriate Death Certificate Application Form. There are two types of application forms: One for Local Applications and one for Overseas Applications.

If the death can be located in the death books, then the Registrar General can prepare a certified true copy of a death certificate for you, and contact you to arrange collection.

Certified copy of a Marriage Certificate

If you require a copy of a marriage certificate for a marriage that occurred in the Falkland Islands, please complete and return the appropriate Marriage Certificate Application Form. There are two types of application forms: One for Local Applications and one for Overseas Applications.

If the marriage can be located in the marriage books, then the Registrar General can prepare a certified true copy of the marriage certificate for you, and contact you to arrange collection.
